DESCRIPTION:\nDoug joined Legacy after an 18 year run as Executive Director at Little Forks Conservancy in Midland. With prior conservation experience in Traverse City, Maryland, Georgia and Massachusetts Doug brings a lifelong love of seeking a better, more sustainable balance between humans and nature. He grew up west of Grand Rapids, and earned a degree in the biologic sciences at Calvin College. Doug spent some time in the woods of Northern Michigan at the AuSable Institute for Environmental Studies. A few years later, he found himself working in the swamps and streams of southern Georgia after acquiring his Master’s in Geography at the University of Georgia. Doug is excited about working in a new region of his home state.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nThe Washtenaw Estate Planning Council, Inc. is a Non-Profit corporation permanently established in the United States of America.\n
